Termas de Araxa, inaugurated in 1942, was build to take advantage of the medicinal springs near town of Araxa in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Two mineral springs, each with different qualities, flow out of depths of the earth. One spring has alkaline and slightly radioactive water, the other is sulphurous.
